I Write Her, and I Become Her | Fall Conversations 3
Oct 21, 2026
My favorite five minutes of the day happen before anyone else is up.
I brew my coffee, light my candle and sit down with my journal to create space for the most important person in my life. (Spoiler alert, it's me. 😉)
It's also my time with my truest self, my higher power, and it feels like a little collaboration between us. We check in, I get honest about how I'm really doing, and we set the tone for how I want to live the day.
I've been sitting with myself like this for years. Then Danielle Amos, the Mystic Millionaire Mentor, added the piece I didn't know was missing, and it sounds almost too simple. I write her, and I become her.
She isn't someone I'm trying to turn into. She's me, and those mornings are how I create the space to remember.
I start with the identity that sits over all the others. Wife, mama, daughter, friend, CEO... they all matter, but I begin with the woman who is the Queen of my life, because if she isn't okay, nothing else in my life is going to be okay either.
Then I ask her three questions.
How does she think? How does she feel? What does she do?
I write the answers as if they're already happening in real time. "I am living in alignment and flow." "I have vibrant health and happiness in my body and in my family." "Amazing clients flow easily to me."
When I ask how she feels, the words come pretty easily now. Free, focused, powerful, fulfilled and knowing I'm on the right path.
And when I ask what she does, I don't write a whole new life plan and an overwhelming list of to do's. I write one thing she does differently today, or I focus on a nourishing habit I've already chosen.
Of course, there's always that voice that wants to weigh in. You know the one. "That's unrealistic, you're not good at that, who do you think you are??"
My dad used to say, "It's all BS." He didn't always mean it positively, but I've given it a much better job. When that voice starts talking, I set it to the side, take a sip of my coffee and keep reading or writing.
This isn't about becoming impressive enough or healed enough to deserve the life I want. She isn't someone I earn, she's been in there all along, waiting for enough quiet so I could hear her again.
Then the day happens, the way days do. 🙃 But I walk into it having already connected with HER.
So I'll leave you with the question I come back to.
If you sat with the truest version of you for five minutes tomorrow morning, how would she want to feel? And what's one thing you can do today to create that feeling?
Love,
J'aime
