Summer Conversations 5: What are you no longer available for?

Welcome back to our Summer Conversations.

Last week I asked you what needs more of your attention...what did you choose and how does that feel?

My #1 focus lately is on my own health & wellbeing. Prioritizing movement, sunshine, laughter, fresh seasonal fruits & veggies, strength training, clean water...the powerful basics. And I've noticed as I've built these habits, I've also had to remove some things I've outgrown or they don't fit in this season for me...like those damn double stuff Oreos :)).

There are a few other things I've outgrown and am no longer available for that I have quietly implemented over the last couple of years as well:

🚫 Working with people who aren't aligned or don't see my value.

🚫 Obligations that leave me drained & resentful.

🚫 Saying yes before I've checked in with myself.

🚫 Feeling responsible for other people's experiences, decisions, and emotions.

Not because those things are bad, they just don't fit anymore.

So I'm curious...

What have you outgrown?
Who or what no longer deserves access to you?
What are you carrying that isn't yours?

Maybe there is a commitment you dread every time it shows up on your calendar, or something you said yes to three versions of yourself ago. Is there a role you've been playing for so long you forgot you had a choice?

Growth isn't always about adding something new or focusing deeper.

Sometimes it's about finally putting something down.

The things we release are not losses.

They are decisions about who we are becoming.
